Citadel Encourages Community to “Vote for Miracles” in Honor of CHOP

CHOP could win $50,000 through Annual Campaign to Benefit CMN Hospitals 

EXTON, Pa. – Citadel is encouraging the Greater Philadelphia community to help Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) win the annual Credit Union for Kids “Vote for Miracles” campaign. CHOP could win up to $50,000 if it receives enough community votes in the nationwide poll. 

Anyone can vote daily through December 19 by visiting VoteforMiracles.org. The hospital with the most votes will win $50,000; second through fifth place will receive $20,000, $15,000, $10,000 and $5,000, respectively. CO-OP Financial Services and CU Direct have generously partnered to make the monetary donations possible.

“Citadel encourages our community here in the Greater Philadelphia area to come together and join in this effort to help Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia win Vote for Miracles,” said Michael Schnably, senior vice president, Citadel. “This is a chance for our community to give back to CHOP and help make miracles happen for its patients. Citadel is proud to assist in this campaign to help our local hospital.” 

Citadel recently donated over $55,000 to CHOP, which represented the total raised by Citadel’s inaugural Citadel Palooza country music festival. Citadel Palooza took place on October 7 in Pottstown and featured several artists, including five-time Grammy nominee Hunter Hayes. 

In addition to voting at VoteForMiracles.org, the community can also explore ways to share the campaign using hashtag #VoteForMiracles to increase support for CHOP.
