Payment protection through Citadel’s Member’s Choice Borrower Security is a voluntary loan option that covers your payment or balance in the event of death, disability, or involuntary unemployment. By protecting your loan investment, you’ll worry less about those “what-if” situations.

If the worst happens, Citadel’s Member’s Choice Borrower Security cancels your monthly loan payment up to the agreed maximum. With this protection, both the principal and interest portions of your loan payment are canceled.

Types of Security Plans

Auto and Personal Loan Protection

• Protects up to two borrowers per loan
• Cancels your loan balance up to $75,000 in the event of death
• Cancels your monthly loan payments for up to 12 months, or $12,000, if disabled by a protected illness or injury
• Cancels your monthly loan payments for up to 6 months, or $3,000, if involuntarily unemployed

Credit Card Protection

• Protects up to two borrowers per loan
• Cancels your credit card balance up to $50,000 in the event of death
• Cancels your monthly loan payments up to 12 months, or $12,000, if disabled by a protected illness or injury
• Cancels your monthly loan payments for up to 6 months, or $3,000, if involuntarily unemployed
