Celebrating Outstanding Local Teachers
Citadel Heart of Learning Awards

At Citadel Credit Union, we’re committed to serving those who work every day to build a better future for us all. That’s why every year we honor outstanding teachers across the Greater Philadelphia area in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Lancaster, and Philadelphia counties with the Citadel Heart of Learning Award.
We were proud to honor this year’s outstanding teachers with our treasured glass heart award and more than $100,000 in prizes, including $10,000 for each of the six grand prize winners, with $5,000 awarded to the teacher and $5,000 to their school, as well as $1,000 for each of the other winners. In honor of our 25th anniversary, we also awarded a $2,500 prize to three teachers with 25 or more years of experience.
As we celebrate these remarkable educators, we are already looking ahead to our 2026 awards and invite you to nominate one of the area’s best teachers for next year’s recognition.
