1 A Referrer may receive up to $500 in Reward Cards for qualifying referrals per calendar year.
2 The person making the referral (Referrer) will earn a $100 Visa® Reward Card for each qualified individual referred (Referred Person) to Citadel who is 18 years of age or older and does not have an existing or prior account relationship with Citadel, registers for the offer, opens a new checking account and completes the other requirements within the time specified in the offer. Only one Referral Reward Card will be issued for a qualifying Referred Person. If multiple referrals are received for the same Referred Person, the Referrer on the first Referral received will be eligible for the Referral bonus. Referred Person Reward Card offer may not be combined with other new account offers. Each Referred Person is only eligible to receive one Reward Card bonus per lifetime for opening a qualifying new account but will be eligible for additional Reward Cards as a Referrer, subject to the limit of five (5) per calendar year.
3 A qualifying direct deposit is defined as a recurring direct deposit of payroll, pension, Social Security, Government benefits, or other regular monthly income, electronically deposited into the account. Internal or external transfers from one account to another, mobile deposits, and deposits made at a banking location, ATM or through Online and Mobile Banking do not qualify as a direct deposit.
4 Rewards Cards will be issued to qualified Referrers and Referred Persons after the Referred account is open for at least 30 days. The Referred account must be open and in good standing at the time of incentive fulfillment, in order for Rewards Cards to be issued. Please allow 4-6 weeks after completion of all requirements for delivery of your Visa® Reward Card to the physical address provided in the registration form. Reward Card may be reported as income to the IRS. The value of this bonus will be reported to the IRS and the recipient is responsible for any federal, state or local taxes on this offer.
Additional Program Details
The Referrer must register for the program and send a ReferLive referral invitation to the Referred Person, by email or through social media. The Referred Person must register by following the link provided in the referral email or social media invitation, and then open a new checking account after receiving the email or social media offer through the official means of the program.
The offer is not available if the Referred Person already has an existing or prior account relationship with Citadel and may not be combined with any other offers. The incentive will not be issued on closed accounts. In addition, incentives will not be awarded for referrals of accounts the Referrer is, in any capacity, an owner of (primary, joint, POA, etc.). The program may be discontinued or changed at any time without notice. Citadel employees are not eligible for this program or offer. Business checking accounts are also not eligible for this offer.
The Referrer authorizes the sending of communications to each Referred Person. The email may not be recovered if the person has “opted out” of marketing material from Citadel or ReferLive. Each person who registers at ReferLive authorizes future communications including emails regarding the program unless they “opt out” by making an election at ReferLive or within such email. The Referred Person acknowledges that a Reward Card will be issued to the Referrer after all conditions have been met in the time frames provided. The Reward Cards will be mailed to the addresses within the ReferLive registration system.
