If you already have an Ultimate Growth Checking Account, you can view your current tier in your dashboard when you log in to Online & Mobile Banking. Your tier will also be displayed on your account statement each month. Your tier will be automatically adjusted each month based on the combined 3-month average daily balance of all Ultimate Growth Checking Accounts on the same unique account number.
The 3-month average daily checking balance is evaluated at the end of each month, and any tier adjustment will automatically occur on the first day of each month.

Yes, the Ultimate Growth Checking Account is available for teens starting at age 13 with joint ownership shared by a parent or guardian. Citadel's Free Checking & Cashback Rewards Checking Accounts have been retired as of February 2025. Accountholders can keep their existing accounts or upgrade to Ultimate Growth Checking.

No, Citadel's other checking accounts were retired as of February 2025, so you cannot switch back to an old account type after you've upgraded to Ultimate Growth Checking.

Your account number and debit card number will stay the same.
Unredeemed rewards are deposited into the checking account automatically as part of the account upgrade process, so you don’t lose them. You do not need to redeem rewards prior to upgrading to Ultimate Rewards Checking.
